This sauce is prepared according to local traditional recipes. Every stage of the process is rigorously handmade. All its components are previously selected, thoroughly washed and cooked over low heat. The sauce is bottled at about 70°C and pasteurized straight away to ensure its shelf life. Such characteristics give the product organoleptic qualities very close to those of a fresh-made sauce, in addition to the guarantee and evidence of quality.
The sauce is ideally dense to season pasta or rice; it gives back the scent and aroma of the fresh ingredients. It can be used warm after heating it in pan or microwave, pouring it on your favourite pasta cooked “al dente”. It is possible to add extra-virgin olive oil, parmesan cheese or mozzarella cubes to taste and sauté until it gets creamy.
