Hemp seed flour is obtained from the processing of hemp seeds during the oil extraction process. It is rich in fibres, high feed value proteins and fats. It also contains vitamins E, B1 and B2 and dietary elements, phytosterols and is gluten-free. It contains all of the essential amino acids and high levels of essential fatty acids omega 6 and 3.
Hemp seed flour appears dark in colour and of a quite tart taste. Naturally gluten-free, it can be used for the production of bread, pasta, biscuits, pizzas, always blended with other kinds of flours in a percentage between 10% and 20% depending on the product desired.
