Honeycrisp apple is a variety that in the past was common all over Centre and Southern Italy. Its name (“iced apple” in Italian) comes from a peculiar characteristic: the flesh tends to become glass-like, almost transparent, giving the impression of being iced indeed. Its skin is slightly pinky, with a white, juicy, very aromatic and slightly tart flesh.
From such a savoury fruit a fragrant jam is born, enriched by the aromatic qualities of raisin and by the sweetness of white chocolate. A very original taste, well worth being tasted.
How to taste
Excellent for tarts, cookies but also simply eaten on toasted bread for breakfast.
How healthy it is
Apples have favourable properties for immune, digestive and respiratory systems. In fact, experts consider this fruit to have anti-inflammatory, astringent, analgesic, emollient, expectorant and tonic properties.
The 50 grams box can serve as an original bonbonnière, a place card or a little homage for guests of luxury resorts or events participants. For the sweet-toothed ones, the 220 gr pack is available.

Store in dry and dark place, possibly at no less than 20°C. After opening, keep the pot refrigerated and consume within 3-4 weeks.
