White truffle Melata honey

A rare kind of honey, dark and amber in colour, produced by the bees not from flower nectar but from the food substrate on the bark of some forest trees.  Also known as Forest Honey, a bit sourer than common honey, it is rich in nutrients. Expertly processed, it comes in perfect harmony with the unmistakable taste of white truffle. Honeydew is still a little known product, yet a real top-class for nutritional qualities and flavour. Despite its limited availability, in our opinion, it is one of the very few kinds of honey fitting for such a peculiar marriage.
